FREE Summer Lunch Cruises 2019

Summer Lunch Cruises/Grub Club Fri Lunch Menu

Enjoy a FREE 30 minute harbor cruise with purchase of lunch “to go” from participating restaurants every Wednesday through the end of August.

You must pre-order with the individual restaurant to reserve your seats.

Boarding passes will be received with your lunch order from the restaurant before boarding the boat.

Participants will board the Spirit Cruise ship at Dock 9 near Parker’s Lighthouse.

RESERVATION IS REQUIRED. Call participating restaurants to make reservation and place orders. Pick up orders and boarding pass at restaurant.

      Hello Shelley, There are no reservations required, it is first come first serve, the caveat is that you need to pre-order your lunch with one of the participating restaurants listed in the post.

    We are super excited about this! Do we preorder lunch directly with the restaurant? Pick up the lunch at the restaurant and then go to the boat? Where do you launch from?

      Hello Michelle, You can call one of the restaurants listed above and they will be able to give you those details.

        There is No age limit, kids 2 and under are free. Please call one of the participating restaurants of your choice for child and adult menu items available.

    Is it possible to just buy tickets for the cruise (without buying food)? My kids and I would like to join friends for a lunch cruise but we have dietary issues and I need to pack our own food.

      Hello Kelly, tickets for the boat cruise are not available but many restaurants offer accommodations for people with dietary restrictions. We recommend calling the restaurants to see if they can work something out for you.

      The cruise is 30 minutes and it is recommend you pick up your meal about 30 minutes prior in case there are lunch lines.

    Last year, you pre-ordered your lunch for the cruise, and they gave you a ticket for the boat when you picked it up. The lunch/tickets did sell out regularly. Is the process this year different?

    So it’s not a free lunch cruise…I’m not quite understanding…is the cruise free but we are to bring our own food or is the boat provide free food? May you please clarify…Thank you

      There is no additional cost, but you will need to call one of the participating restaurants to make your reservation and order from a select menu.

      We will keep that into consideration for next year, but it is also possible that you can call up the restaurant of your choice and see if they can accommodate you.

      Sorry for the confusion the single boat ride departs at 12:00 pm. and typically returns by 12:45 pm. We recommend calling the restaurant of your choice and check for availability for the date you prefer.

      You can call the restaurant of your choice from the list of participating restaurants and ask if they are at capacity.

      Hello Tiffany, we just spoke to Tugboat’s management and they do not open until 11:00am. That is probably why they did not answer they were probably not opened yet or were getting ready for the business day.

    Hi, just so I’m understabding… you call one of the participating resturaunts order a “to go lunch” (do we pay right then over the phone? Or can we pay when we pick up?) And the cruise ticket is included? A d is there certain times for boarding the cruises? Is there a schedule? I know it starts around 12. Also will the resturaunt know if the cruise will be too full?

      You can call the restaurant of your choice and they should be able to further instruct you of when to pay and availability. The cruise is free with a paid lunch reservation. The cruise promptly departs at noon and it is recommended you pick up your meal 30 minutes prior to departure.
